Self-Archiving Policy

Submitted Version

Any author is free to place the submitted version of an own article on the personal or institutional homepage, repository, or archive, or non-profit repositories. Self-archiving of the submitted version is not subject to an embargo period. We recommend to include an acknowledgement after this or a revised version of it has been accepted for publication. After publication, a link to the published article provided by the publisher should be added and a notice like the following one should be included on the first page:

"This is the author's version of the following article: [FULL CITE]. It has been published in final form at [Link to final article using the DOI]. This article may be used for non-commercial purposes only."
For replacing the version posted with the accepted or final published version, the terms given below apply.

Accepted Version

The version which has been accepted for publication may be placed on the personal or institutional homepage, repository, or archive, or non-profit repositories after an embargo period which ends 6 months after the final article has been published online. Articles may be deposited into repositories on acceptance, but access to the article is subject to the embargo period. The version posted must include the following notice on the first page:

"Accepted for publication in the Journal of Automata, Languages and Combinatorics."
After publication, a link to the published article provided by the publisher should be added together with a note that the article may be used for non-commercial purposes only.

Final Version

The final version (Version of Record) is the version produced by the publisher. This version may only be used by the publisher and must not be placed on any homepage, repository, or archive by anybody else than the publisher.
